 Located in the Algarve 15 km south of Alcoutim, the village of Guerreiros do Rio is embbeded on the banks of the Guadiana river, which is the border between Portugal and Spain, 25 km away from the Algarve coastline and with rapid access to the highway "Via do Infante" (A22).
How to get there:
1 - From the North / Lisbon
Highway A2 to Algarve. Then take "Via do Infante" (A22) direction Vila Real de Santo António / Espanha (Spain). Exit direction Beja / Mértola / Alcoutim. After Odeleite dam, continue direction Foz de Odeleite. After Foz de Odeleite, continue scenic road on the side of the Guadiana river until Guerreiros do Rio.
2- From the North / Lisbon - alternative possibility
Highway A2, direction Beja. After Beja continue direction Mértola. After Mértola continue on EN122 direction Alcoutim / Castro Marim / Vila Real de Santo António. After the turn to Alcoutim, continue on IC 27 until the turn to Foz de Odeleite (before Odeleite dam). Continue direction Foz de Odeleite and after Foz de Odeleite continue scenic road on the side of the Guadiana river until Guerreiros do Rio.
3- From the South - Faro / Espanha
Take highway "Via do Infante" (A22) direction Vila Real de Santo António / Espanha (Spain). Take exit direction Beja / Mértola / Alcoutim.
After Odeleite dam, continue direction Foz de Odeleite.
After Foz de Odeleite, continue scenic road on the side of the Guadiana river to Guerreiros do Rio.
